Preface of “Thailand tour”
In order to develop the cultural exchange and friendly cooperation between Thailand and China, promote Chinese traditional Kanyu classics knowledge, at the invitation of the chairman of Chinese general chamber of commence in Thailand Zhen Mingru, chairman of Thailand and China artists association in Thailand Cai Yi Pi, honorary president of Thailand and China economy and trade exchange center in Thailand Li Gui Xiong, chairman of chamber of commence and industry in Thailand Zhen Ji Lie, chairman of commence association in Thailand Wu Cheng and other leaders of overseas Chinese, Mr. Li Dingxin at an age of 80 years old, had visited Thailand for three times from March 23rd, 2000 to May 7th, 2000, from July 10th, 2000 to Sep 5th, 2000, from March of 2001 to May of 2001. He received warm welcomes and receptions from them and other leaders of overseas Chinese. During his visits to Thailand, as a top authentic prentice of Yang Yi (Yang Jiu Ping), Mr. Li Dingxin attended “Thailand Gannan Yang Yi (Yang Jiu Ping) culture seminar”, “Thailand and Chinese Kan Yu exchange conference” and other learning activities. On the conference, he made excellent learned reports, took part in and instructed the site-selections, reconnaissances and layouts of some Ying Zhais and Yang Zhais. At the invitation, he surveyed, designed and instructed the new layout of Thailand palace, rectified the seat of emperor. With a height of 2.8 meters, a statue of Guan Yin Bodhisattva donated by overseas Chinese in Thailand was made of a piece of sandalwood. In order to worship this Guan Yin Bodhisattva, a temple was in need. At the invitation, Mr. Li Dingxin surveyed and compared two sites for the new temple, and gave some high ideas praised by members of Thailand royal and celebrities, which played an important role in promoting the friendship between Thailand and China, the affection between overseas Chinese and Gannan Hakkas, letting people in Thailand know China and origin of Fengshui-Ganzhou in China.
